IBM Lotus Domino Based HRMS
Balmer Lawrie decided to implement a webbased workflow automation system for its employee across countrry to increase/improve efficency and effectiveness of their business processes. The main objectives are to minimize cost, turnaround times and defects/errors with the movement of paper documents. Lotus Based HRMS workflow which again can be classified as HRIS (Human Resource Information System), ESS (Employee Self Service) and PMS (Performance Management System) was decided to be developed and implemented across country. Appart from this the HRMS system is integrated with the legacy system (Sybase) for fetching / updating of employee information using DECS technology.

Chandrani Pearls, a well-known destination for pearl jewellery, is the only branded pearl jeweller in India. The company primarily designs, manufactures, assembles pearl jewellery at its factory in Kolkata. Chandrani Pearls were the first to set up Kolkata's first exclusive pearl jewellery showroom. They currently operate from 50 retail outlets across the country.
WDC has been awarded with the contract of studying and identifying its regular processes and develop and implement a web-based customized ERP solution for the entire organization. The solution encompasses all the functional areas like Factory, Purchase, Point of Sale, Stores etc. The Accounting level is also brought into a single centralized application, which is, protected with suitable access control. All transactions are maintained online. The information is uniformly structured and viewed through suitable MIS whenever required.

| Orissa Tourism (OTDC) |
The tourism portal would provide solutions for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce. The portal would facilitate the linkages between local tourism providers and the government bodies and help them manage the tourism resources better. The adoption and usage of e-business practices will facilitate the evolution from traditional tourism information and management systems and the integration of tourism enterprises into the digital economy.
As far as B2C relationships are concerned, the primary function of the proposed tourism portal is to provide consumers with comprehensive and accurate information for the preparation of their travel plans including online reservation facilities. With regard to B2B, the tourism portal will provide tourism enterprises with the means for better integration into tourism supply chains by promoting personalized and enriched tourism experiences directly to a large number of tourists and consumers.
The system is conceived to communicate and market tourism offerings of Orissa through the Internet. The system will include general information about different aspects of Orissa, information regarding tourism offerings in the state, methods to communicate with potential tourists and members of the general public and a facility for online reservation of rooms and tours offered by OTDC / DoT as well as private properties.
